General
What is epoxy flooring, exactly?
Epoxy flooring is a multi-layer coating system applied over prepared concrete — typically a primer, a pigmented base coat (with optional decorative flake or metallic pigment), and a protective topcoat. Properly installed, it creates a seamless, durable surface that's far more resistant to wear, stains, and moisture than bare or painted concrete.
How long does epoxy flooring last?
A properly prepped and installed system is built to last many years under normal use. Longevity depends heavily on installation quality — specifically whether the concrete was properly ground and prepped — which is why we don't skip that step regardless of budget.
Is epoxy flooring slippery?
A smooth, high-gloss epoxy can be slicker than textured concrete when wet. Slip-resistant additives can be mixed into the topcoat for garages, wash bays, and other areas where that matters — just let us know during your free visit.
Booking & Process
How do I get started?
Book a free on-site visit through the website or by phone. We'll assess your space, answer questions, and follow up with a written quote — no cost or obligation to move forward.
How long does installation take?
It varies by size and system — a single garage might be a day or two of active work, while larger commercial spaces take longer. You'll get a specific timeline in your written quote, not a rough guess.
Do I need to be home or on-site during installation?
Not for the entire project, but we'll coordinate access and timing with you directly so there's no confusion about when we're on site.
What happens to my belongings in the space?
The area being coated needs to be cleared before we start — we'll confirm exactly what needs to move as part of your project confirmation.
Pricing & Payment
How is pricing determined?
Pricing depends on square footage, the condition of the existing concrete, the system you choose, and any repair work needed. That's exactly what the free on-site visit is for — an accurate quote instead of a guess.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes — a deposit is required to confirm and schedule a project once you approve your quote, with the remaining balance due on completion. Exact amounts are outlined in your quote.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept secure online card payment for deposits and final balances. Payment details will be provided with your quote.
Maintenance
How do I clean an epoxy floor?
Routine sweeping and occasional mopping with a mild, non-acidic cleaner is typically all that's needed — avoid harsh solvents or abrasive scrubbing pads, which can dull the finish over time.
Can I park a hot car on a new garage floor right away?
No — new coatings need a full cure period before they can handle vehicle weight and hot tires. We'll tell you the exact wait time for your specific system.
